Geocache Description:

Drive-up cache. Camouflaged container with only a log sheet.

This is Larry Simmons Stadium; football home of my Alma Mater (Class of '79), the Thompson Warriors. Coach Simmons was head football coach when I was in school here.

I spent many a Friday night cheering my team and playing in the halftime shows with the Marching Southern Sounds under the direction of Elson Hood.

Most times the place is quiet enough to get the cache with no trouble. Mornings and afternoons (and, of course, during football games) there can be a lot of muggle traffic through the area.

Be sure to bring a pen to sign the log. And, place the cache back exactly as you found it.

This cache is wheelchair friendly. It is located outside the stadium; there is no need to go inside to access the cache.
