The Bottomless Pit ☠ Traditional Cache

zanadian: Had a tip this area had turned into private property, so we checked it out today. Sadly, the old mine shaft has been filled in and we saw a dreaded "Private Property" sign at the entrance from the Old Cascade Hwy [:(]. Retrieved the cache and remembered the good times we had throwing stuff down the pit [:P].

Do you have a cursed artifact that you need to get rid of?
Perhaps you are a woman who would like to see her husbands golf clubs "disappear",
Or, you're a man who would like to " lose" a few pair of your wife's shoes.
Maybe you just need to dispose of a body - nothing comes out of the Bottomless Pit.

This cache is located on the same road as Rock Face. Further up the Rossland-Cascade Road and over the summit you'll turn off the road at N49° 00.656 W117° 54.847. From there it's a short drive on a seldom used road (it looks rough, but our Buick did it).
