Combination of stiles and moorland around a lake. Not wheelchair / pushchair friendly.
A small clipit container hidden about 30 minutes walk from the village of Tanygrisiau. This cache, Valley View and 'Trackside Wave' are placed along one of our favourite walks. You don't have to do this but we caught the Ffestiniog Steam Railway from Tan-y-bwlch to Tanygrisiau. The walk back is approx 3 hours passing alongside or over the railway track giving plenty of photo opportunities of both the trains and the views over the Maentwrog valley. You pass through moorland, nature reserves and woodland.
There are cafes at both ends.
