Geocache Description:

This is one of the caches being placed for the NNJC spring Picnic / 10 year anniversary of Geocaching event (GC25EKV) on May 1st. You are welcome to locate this cache now, or wait until the event.

The Riverbend cache will take you to a scenic little winding riverbend in the very small river which winds through Loantake Brook Reservation.

Loantaka Brook Reservation offers 5 miles of multi-use paved trails stretching throughout the park. This Morris County Park got its name from the Native American Lenni-Lenape Tribe. Loantaka means "the place of the cold winter" which refers to the Great Swamp and surrounding area.

Reminds me of the following Pocahontas "Just around the riverbend" song:

Hear

Just Around The Riverbend Lyrics

here.

Thanks to AVgraphics for this vintage 6-digit GC # from his 5 mile lock cache GCXNTZ where the first three finder received a ready made cache page and vintage GC number.
