Geocache Description:

Located in Montague harbour provincial park. Can be accessed by walking along the beach from the park or by boat. Best accessed at low tide from the beach but can be reached from the trail above with a little bit of scrambling.

This cache gives you a chance to explore one of the Gulf Islands. You will be on the Island for at least a full day because of the ferry schedule. If you want to stay longer, there are many B&B's and Montague park has great camping and the nicest sunsets I have seen. The cache is a little off the beaten path but not hard to get to. Walking along the beach at low tide is easiest. It is quite well hidden so don't give up! Mostly filled with smaller kid's toys but there are a few 'goodies' for older folks as well. The beach to the west is good for landing most kinds of boats and does not get too crowded. There is also a public dock and mooring bouys for larger boats. Please re-hide well to avoid the many muggles in this area.
