Geocache Description:

BARK AT THE MOON

Screams break the silence
Waking from the dead of night
Vengeance is boiling
He's returned to kill the light
Then when he's found
who he's looking for
Listen in awe
and you'll hear him...

Bark at the moon*

Saturday October 28, 2006

This family friendly event will take place at Van Etten Lake State Forest Campground. Some will start to arrive Friday evening to camp. If you wish to camp with us, please do! If you are not into camping, the actual event will take place on Saturday night beginning at 5:00 PM. The campground gates are closed around Oct 15th leaving 6 campsites available. You can fit a lot of campers on 6 sites. That leaves us more room to wander the area and BARK AT THE MOON! Costumes are not required but they would be fun. There will be a prize for the best male and the best female costume!

There will be a concoction bubbling in the black cauldron, please bring something of your choice to pass along with your own beverage.

You may bring a prize for the drawing if you wish. Tickets can be found in event caches nearby. Bring a headlamp or a flashlight to help you find your way along the "Trail of Terror" aka "Moonlight Path" which will be published soon. Also bring your best carved pumpkin with you, there will be a vote on the scariest and the winner will get a prize!
