Geocache Description:

Located in woodland between Godden Green & Underiver.

The cache is a medium sized tupperware box containing a log book & various mixed objects.

The cache is hidden in One Tree Hill woods which lies on the southern edge of the Greensland Ridge and is 35 acres in size and rising to 679 feet above sea level.

One Tree Hill Wood was purchased in 1911 with funds given as a gift by Dr and Mrs Jameison Hurry, in memory of Mrs Hurry's father, Arthur Hill. Arthur was a half brother of Octavia Hill, one of the founding members of the National Trust.

One Tree Hill wood is concidered to be of moderately high biological interest and has several species of invertibrates including Rolf's Door Snail, a point snail, a large slug concidered to be local and national rarities.

The wood can be accessed from a car park located at N51 15.403 E0 13.947. Follow one of the several paths leading into woods, and take a rest at the One Tree Hill stone bench and enjoy some great views.
