Hold The Line!

Growing up in the Santa Barbara area, Farren Road always felt to me like it was the mystical end of civilization. East of this road was man's domain of cities, Goleta, Santa Barbara, Oxnard, Camarillo, LA, etc down the coast to Mexico. West of this point was the open country and nature's domain, at least for a spell. Now there is talk of trying to save the "Gaviota Coast" How long can we hold the line at Farren road? Will it someday be just another urban road in the middle of endless housing tracts, strip malls and business parks? Enjoy the open coast while you can. Hold the line!
