Geocache Description:

Cache is a Small Lock & Lock container. Boots recommended for this walk.

This cache is to replace old Calmanach Wood which was Timberjacked. The cache is located close to a track junction on the Cateran trail. There are 2 high stiles to negotiate if approaching from the north.

This is one of a series of caches stretching from Dunkeld to The Spittal of Glenshee (40Km)and possibly beyond.

At N56 46.447 W003 30.759 there is a large stone in the track which has fossil plants in it.

There are sheep on the moorland please keep dogs on leads.
