The North Pole Cache Two Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

DaveCool: One of my first hides, I've never been real happy with the location here. Evidently a local hunter finds it a convenient place to dump deer carcasses. An interesting puzzle, but not a very popular cache. I think it's time to let this one go... DaveCool [8D]

Geocache Description:

This is my second placement and second in the series.
Almost a park & grab this time.

My second choice for this cache name was "Cold Cache" because it has a "Cooler" theme. This will Cool you off after the first in the series, but I can't just give it away though, so here's your obstacle: a "Cool" math problem.

On your way to work in the morning you see a sign at the bank which shows the time and temperature. That afternoon, after work, you see the same sign on the way home and notice something funny. The Celsius temp shows the same number, but the Fahrenheit temp is 36° higher than it was that morning.

What were the C° and F° temps in the AM and PM?

The actual coordinates for the first stage are:

N 36° 1_.___
W 080° 1_.___

N 36° 1A.BCD
W 080° 1E.FGH

A= the second digit of the AM F° minus one.
B= A x2.
CD= (the PM F° /2)+3.
E= the first digit of the PM F° +4.
FG= (5x the PM C°) -7.
H= D.

Wasn't that Cool?

NOW...***The cache is not at these coordinates!***
BUT...***You will find the final coordinates here.***

It is only a short distance from the first to the final stage. You could walk, but if you look closely you can drive almost all the way to the cache. Look for an opening in the trees that is almost inline between the first and final stages. Whatever you do, don't go the wrong way!

There is just a smattering of cacher's ivy in the area, and evidently a local hunter likes to dump deer carcasses here, so watch your step.

This is an ammo box, so hunt accordingly, and please take one of the larger items to make room in the cache. I included a disposable camera, so take a picture of something appropriate while you're there, and let me know when the camera is full. Hopefully you haven't pulled out all your hair and the perplexed look has worn off by the time you get there.

Enjoy the hunt and think Cool thoughts!

The hint simply states "Solve puzzle on cache page". No spoiler here.
