Geocache Description:


The North Norfolk Railway was closed down in the 1960's and land sold. Today little evidence remains to show the location of this once important transportation system. Although shown on some OS maps most travellers are unaware of the railway in this area.

  


This Geocache is located on a piece of former North Norfolk Railway land now left vacant as public land adjacent to a vehicular right of way and a magnificent solid railway bridge made of black bricks imported into the area. Although covered with a fairly dense copse/undergrowth, reasonably accurate GPS co-ordinates were recorded with some innovative arm-waving (clue).
