I'm placing this cache in honor of my loving father, who was a licensed barber in the state of Texas, specifically Texas City, Texas, for 63 years. A veteran of WWII, he barbered in the same shop with his father until his father passed away. Dad always said he wanted to be able to retire and go to the end of the Texas City Dike and throw his tools out into the bay. He never got that chance, and passed away on Memorial Day, 2005 at the age of 82 years. He holds the record for being the person that has barbered for the most years in the state of Texas.
