Au nord de Strasbourg, dans le quartier de la Robertsau, se situe le château de Pourtalès avec son superbe parc à l'anglaise.
Il fut à l'origine construit par Joséph Guérault, entrepeneur du Roi chargé de construire les fortifications de Strasbourg au XVIII siècle.
Par la suite le château a été acquit par Alfred de Buissière ( banquier, homme politique, industriel (usines de Graffenstaden)) Il épousa Mélanie de Coehorn.
D'ou le nom de la rue qui mène au château!
Il devint un haut lieu de la diplomatie et de la littérature européenne au 19 siècle.
D'illustres personnes sont passées: Napoléon III, Le Prince de Metternich, Louis de Broglie, François Mauriac, Joffre, Lyautey, etc...
Début des années 70 le château était tombé dans un état de délabrement inquiétant. Il n'y avait plus de successeur direct...
Il fut rapidement l'objet de spéculations immobilières, et n'a été sauvé de justesse des pelleteuses, que par l'engagement d'un institeur de la Robertsau ( M. Boos )
qui attira l'attention des médias de l'époque. Un grand merci à lui! Cela en valait bien la peine.
Depuis 1974 le château est devenu la propriété du Shiller Collège La ville de Strasbourg acheta le parc par la suite et nous permet
aujourd'hui de faire de belles promenades et surtout...des caches!

- Stage 3 Allez ensuite à: N48°36.604 E007°48.034 Un géocacheur a les boules! Aidez lui à compter celles qui sont sur sa carte. (uniquement sur la carte) Réponse: F
- Stage 4 Prenez la direction de: N48°36.741 E007°48.010 Vous trouverez un panneau en bois à l'entrée de la ferme. Comptez le nombre de voyelles sur le panneau. Réponse: GH
Toujours depuis cet endroit, notez à quel Nr. se trouve la ferme. (cherchez vous trouverez bien!) Réponse: IJK
Vous voilà en possession de toutes les données! Pour trouver la cache, il vous faudra faire un "peu" de mathématiques...

Information pour le retour: Une fois la cache trouvée, ne revenez pas sur vos pas poursuivez le chemin et prenez le premier chemin à droite.
Il vous mènera à nouveau au château et à son parking.

The Chateau of Pourtalès is located north of Strasbourg in a English park in Robertsau.
It was originally built by Joséph Guérault, an entrepeneur of the king charged with building the fortifications in Strasbourg during the 18th century.
The château was then acquired by Alfred de Buissière ( banker, politcan, business man ( factories in Graffenstaden )) who married Mélanie de Coehorn.
The road which leads to the chateau is named after her. During the 19th century, the chateau became a place for diplomatic meetings and European literature.
Some of the illustrious persons who stayed there include Napoléon III, Le Prince de Metternich, Louis de Broglie, François Mauriac, Joffre, Lyautey, etc...
During the 1970s, the chateau fell into a state of disrepair and neglect as there was no longer a direct successor.
It rapidly became an object of speculation for various real estate companies and was saved from destruction by a teatcher
from Robertsau ( M. Boos ) who attracted the attention of the medial at the time.

In 1974, the chateau became the property of Shiller College. The city of Strasbourg bought the park and allows us today to take beautiful walks and especialy...to place caches!

- Stage 4 Take the direction of: N48°36.741 E007°48.010 You will find a wooden sign at the entrance to the farm. Count the number of vowels in the sign. Answer: GH
At the same place, note the house number of the farm. Answer: IJK Now you have all the data! To find the cache, you must do a little math...
