Geocache Description:


Baldwinsville had a wonderful man, Sergei Yevich,an architect, who volunteered a lot his time to help revitalize downtown Baldwinsville. He spent many hours working on a committee under the leadership of Mayor Dan O'Hara. Sadly he died much too young of cancer of the eye. This path was named in his memory.

The cache is a small key holder. Please replace it so it cannot be seen from the path by muggles. You will need a pen. This is a very easy find for those frustrated as we have been by some tough ones.

Access to the trail is from any site on the river, but the nicest walk is off Denio street at 43.09.458 by 076.19.871. You can see the cache from this location. The path to the cache is wheel chair accessible, but the past 25 feet will be difficult.

There is also a very nice location for a drink to celebrate the find! Some will want to stop at the BLUEWATER but my daughter, Sekhmet says the fries and gravy at the Diner are excellent.

While you are in town it would be a shame not to hit the other caches within walking distance...lock 24 / sk8ter's revenge / an unabridged pun / b'ville drug wars / and by car the three (so far) welcome to bville caches.
