Geocache Description:

Located in a picnic area in Forest Glen, CA. Slopes down a bit to where the cache is at but not a problem for small children. Though watch out for poison oak in the area.

Located just off of Highway 36. This area was called Traveler's Rest in the 1930's. Many families still have vacation cabins in the area from then. (Including ours) This picnic area is close to where the original hotel was located. (It has since burned down.) We hope you enjoy this area as much as we do!

The cache is in a rubbermaid type container, well cammoed, in fact is painted that way. You can also see the spot from the highway. It includes the following:
