Geocache Description:


There is a small car-park for the fields on Mentmore Crescent. The container is a small plastic lunch-box approx 0.4 ltr, and has the usual selection of goodies for cachers of all ages.

As you can see from the cache name, this cache has been placed here in Honor of my first guide dog, Warren, who sadly passed away 12/06/06. He was one of the friendliest dogs I've ever met and loved to come walking in these fields and woods. We felt it only right that as a tribute to him, we would place a cache here. He will be greatly missed by all the family but his memory will stay alive especially when people visit this cache!


He used to meet up with other muggles and their dogs whilst out walking, so please take care not to give the location away to passing dog walkers. There is a small play area nearby which the kids could visit on the way to the cache. Or why not visit 'Whats the slurry' whilst you are here, which is only a short walk around the quarry from this cache.
