Follow old Hwy 95 for a trip into the past on your way to find this cache...
This cache placement is intended to have the Geocacher head down the old Hwy 95 road bed on the way to find this one. Out by the Pilot gas station, at I-40, is a turn off from the modern Hwy 95 that starts you on your journey through time "Hwy 2- 7734". (Remember when you were a kid and typed 7734 on your calculator and then flipped the display? Now you get the name... Or you will when you get on this road...) I put the Jeep into 4WD at 34 38.733 N & 114 19.679 W, only because the sand started getting soft here. The easy way would be to park along the modern highway and hike in, but what fun would that be? ***PLEASE REMEMBER... This geocache is on BLM land and has been approved, as such.
