Cache
Information
This cache is on a side
trail that you can access after you reach Georgia Pass. The
trail is marked with a sign that says Colorado Trail/Glacier
Ridge. There is a very good view of the valley that you came
up from this vantage point. After logging the cache, head
back to the pass to continue down the south side of the
mountain.

Trail
Information
Rating/Description
This trail is rated moderate because of a couple of rough/steep
miles of trail you will encounter just north of the pass.
Most of the trail is easy, particularly on the south side of the
pass. The trail can be done in most 4wd SUV type
vehicles. I left my Jeep at home for this trip and instead
did it in my 4wd Toyota Tacoma and made it easily. This was
really a fun/beautiful trail with none of the edgy shelf road type
stuff that makes Mrs. RocketMan nervous (Too bad because I did this
trip by myself). Disclaimer: You need to decide for yourself
if it is safe to make the trip in your vehicle.
Winter
Months
The trail becomes 4wd impassable in the winter months. I
believe it is open to snowmobiles.
Time/Distance
The entire trail (dirt portion) is approximately 21 miles and
should take about 2 to 3 hours driving time. You will also
need to include time for finding the caches, exploring, sight
seeing, lunch, etc.
