Requires a nice drive on a few forest roads just before Dogtown Lake Campground and a short hike from a great camping spot with 3 fire pits.
From Williams go south on 4th St. (FR 173-Perkinsville Rd.) for about 3.5 miles to Forest Road 140. Turn left on FR 140 and continue for about 2 or so miles until you see a marker showing 48-A and turn right. Take this road back to a huge camping area. It has three fire pits and plenty of room to park and play. Perfect for celebrating a Leo birthday (August). From the camping spot you can see a white fridge off in the distance. Please watch for the barb wire laying out in the meadow area.
