A traditional cache (ammo box). A short walk in an area popular with dog walkers and joggers but not easily negotiated by a buggy, etc
An easily accessible cache on a circular walk. Parking is recommended at N50 56 157 W001 30 451 but please note that the gates close at 6pm.
This Cache is the first one we've placed and it's a green ammo box which contains a log book as well as the usual bits and pieces (pack of cards, a watch - which is working, keyrings, pencils, small toys and even a day pass to a David Lloyd club!). Please beware of muggles as this walk can be rather popular, especially with dog walkers.
There's plenty of wildlife here so be sure to look out for the many water birds - might even be worth taking the binoculars if you're a 'twitcher'!
