Geocache Description:

A quick little quest to capture a cache to quietly accumulate another cute Smiley character!

This is a small container with only a log.
` (Congratulations to vtblackdog for the FTF!)

The cache is hidden right off the main road, close to the Crown Point State Historic Site ... past location of a French fortress, St. Frederic, and a large British Fortress, known simply as 'His Majesty's Fort at Crown Point'.

The Park includes the ruins of both fortresses, a number of important earthworks, and the Champlain Memorial Lighthouse. It has tons of history and a great little museum. It is also the home of frequent Revolutionary Encampment re-enactments. ... well worth the visit!

This is a relatively easy P&G placed in an "Commuter Parking Area" just off the main road.

You can park right next to it ... unless somebody else is there.

As always, be kind to the surroundings and re-hide it as you found it.
AND ... Don't forget to try Crown Point Quickie II just down the road.

Thanks again and Good Luck!!
