klgood: The Visitors Center has relocated to Marquette Mall thus making it very difficult to find a location in which to hide a cache. So reluctantly I’m archiving this cache.

Geocache Description:

The location is by the LaPorte Country Center, take the time to visit. Should be a easy find. Once you get through the construction

The Counties in Northwest Indiana (Lake, Porter, LaPorte) have developed a 'County Seats' Project (visit link) This and ten other cache sites are meant to give a flavor of the area to visitors. The cache is a small tupperware container holding a logbook and some County Seats buttons. Any items left will have to be small given the size of container. Take a button and enjoy NW Indiana.

Currently part of the challenge of this cache will be getting to the parking lot! This is due to construction. To get to the Center exit I-94 South and follow the blue Visitor Center signs.
