Christi's Cache Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

leonata: Wooley Moran and I were nearby at a party this evening, so we decided to stop by for her to find this cache. It was gone, unfortunately, and I'm trying to cut down on the number of caches I have to maintain these days. Thanks to all who searched over the years.

Geocache Description:

I hid this cache for a good friend of mine who lives just a few blocks from this park. She is curious about geocaching but needs a cache that is wheelchair accessible. This is Christi's cache, but it's also for everyone, regardless of age or physical ability!

This is a very simple 2 step multi-cache. The coordinates on this page will take you to a wooden sign on the edge of some athletic fields. You will use some information from the sign to figure out the coordinates for the final container. Once you've done your "figuring", it's a short walk to the cache.

The formula for the final coords is:

N 46* 53.ABC
W 113* 57.DEF

A= the number of words in line 2, PLUS the number of words in line 8

B= the number of words in line 8, PLUS the number of words in line 3

C= the number of words in line 3, MINUS the number of words in line 6

D= the number of words in line 4

E= the number of words in line 5

F= the number of words in line 6

Plug your results into the formula above, and have fun on your search.

A note on the area: If practice is in session, kindly skirt around the field so as not to disturb the athletes. Even when the athletes have gone home, there tend to be a lot of folks about walking their dogs, playing frisbee and the like. So, please exercise stealth while questing for this cache, and make sure it is completely out of sight when you leave.

After the cache going missing within a week of being hidden, I've resorted to various camouflage efforts in order to help hide it from muggles. As of 10/01/07, the cache is a small, round 14 oz Rubbermaid. The lid has been camo taped, and I've covered the cache with local materials. PLEASE, let me know right away if the camouflage begins to deteriorate. When you are rehiding the container, please make sure the cache is completely out of site. Happy caching, Leonata.
