RedhedMary: [red]Big Sigh. Not so sure I deserved a reviewers note on this one since it's located on my own private property and I'm not blocking anyone from placing a cache there. Nonetheless, think I'm going to face the inevitable fact - MH just doesn't have time right now to fix the container again and not sure how long another fix would last anyway. So time to archive. Placing a new cache in this area, watch for it very soon!

And for those who never found it but always wondered...the container was a log with a hinged door on one side leading to a hollowed out compartment. When you're married to an engineer type...

Geocache Description:

Obvious? Or not. The obvious solution may not be the answer.

This cache is located on private property with permission of the owner and her muggle husband. Parking alongside the road near the cache area. No need to go south of the driveway.

THE SEARCH AREA IS --EAST-- OF THE NORTH/SOUTH ROAD (ON THE SAME SIDE AS THE STOP SIGN) AND ON THE --SOUTH-- OF THE EAST/WEST ROAD. I've heard from neighbors that cachers are looking on their property (and they aren't all that happy about it.) If your GPSr is leading you anywhere but the above-described general area, better check that you have the right coords.

Cache container will hold small items. Please be sure to close it securely and rehide it as you found it. Please refrain from hunting this one in the dark as it is a rural yet residential area.

Update 7-2-09: After my muggle hubby's recent restoration work, the cache container is as good as new and ready to be found. I have decided to leave it in place for a while longer instead of archiving it as I had previously planned.
