Yes, there are many caches on offer. However, the primary reason for BrisBlitz is to enable cachers to get together and to have a special 'meet and greet' for a couple of visitors (that we know of). EskimoZooKeeper is travelling all the way from the USA for this event. ADACache will be visiting from Canberra.
If there are any other visiting cachers in town...please let us know.
BrisBlitz is a meeting of east and west and as such The Nanks will be on hand to assist with the east side caches and Wingaap will be on hand to assist with the west side caches. If assistance is required of course ;)
To add to the fun....Freaky Geeky is launching a special cache. The cache wont be posted until after the event ie to find this one you will have to turn up and meet others sometime during the day. Yes the cache is a also a meeting of east and west. You'll find out more on the day :)
The plan is to spend the morning down around the bay (east). The afternoon will be spent in the west. In the evening, for those able to attend, will be a geodinner.
Who knows...they may even be a prize or two for 'things' that have happened during the day.
Please post your interest for the dinner (asap) so that I may make a reservation.
The only 'rule' imposed for the day is that you must have met two new cachers ie someone you havent met before. To be really nasty....one of these cachers has to come from a place other than Queensland. Please note who you met in your log.
