Geocache Description:

The Mighty Yarra River has been made into a 34 metre long sculpture exact in every way with exceptional detail from the mountains to the sea. Many drivers pass this stunning stainless steel piece of art each day fully unaware of what it actually is , with a description plaque located at the centre.

The sculpture represents the natural course of the Yarra River and its floodplain, weaving its way from the hills to the bay, through the gridlike patterns of our farmland and the suburban streetscapes. The sculpture was intended to emphasize the importance of the Yarra River and its tributaries in the history of Melbourne and the timber panels act as an historical reminder as to the tradional owners of this land....20 th December 2003.

The cache is a small magnetic container .It also contains log book ..You do not need to leave the street to locate the cache !Please rehide exactly how you found it.
