the cache is hidden along township road a little west of live oak, with roadside parking at the site. i saw many gentle and peaceful dove as i drove thru the farmland this morning.
abundant and widespread, the mourning dove is well known thruout most of north america. its mournful call is heard from deserts to forest edges, from farmlands to inner cities. despite being hunted thruout most of its range, it remains among the ten most plentiful birds in the united states.
