Snips & Snails - Lacey Traditional Cache

About this series: This series is the contrast to our Sugar and Spice caches.

These caches are for all the tough guys out there caching that don't want anything to do with the pink girly stuff that are in the other caches. We have started this cache with cool, creepy, crawly stuff that boys love.

Please don't leave girly foo-foo stuff in our boys cache. We want trucks, dinosaurs, bug stuff - you know, stuff we like and those icky girls won't want.

About this cache: This cache is hidden in Long Lake Park. Long Lake Park has a variety of family friendly activities available.

The swimming area is one of the few in the area that still has lifeguards on duty. City league "beach vollyball" occupies the nets on Tuesday evenings during the summer, but they are available for others the rest of the week.

There are several picnic spots and a couple of well groomed trails. It appears that more improvements may be in the works. Parking is available, but may be crowded on warm summer days. Bring your beach towels and enjoy one of Lacey's little treasures.
