Located at the BLM Windy Bay Boaters Park. This has a 5 terrain rating since a boat is needed to reach it, but once you get there the terrain is a 2.5.
The Windy Bay Boaters park is free for day use, but a fee is required for camping. This is the first cache hidden by the Tuba Two, so we wanted to make a good one. You are looking for an army surplus container. The contents run the range of some of our best geo-junk and there is a special prize for the first to find. Very little bushwacking is required. Since this area gets quite a bit of traffic, please make sure that you re-hide the cache so it cannot be seen from the trails.
The Boaters Park has some great views of Windy Bay and the surrounding area if you continue a bit further up the hill on the old access road.
