Fotologs are definitely NOT allowed, not even in African Caches, you have to find the container and sign the logbook.
Fotologs sind schon seit Jahren nicht mehr erlaubt, ich weiß keinen Grund, warum das hier anders sein sollte, für das Found-Log ist das Finden des Containers und das Einschreiben in das Vorortlogbuch erforderlich.

As for the cache:
We sent a friend there to have a look at the situation.
The cache has been hidden by a landslide and cannot be replaced at the old spot.
We will be in Manyara beginning of October and replace the box at a new spot nearby.

So we close the cache now and re-open again that time.
Thanks for all, who found the cache and found nice words in their logs.

Geocache Description:

A Micro Cache at a Tanzanian National Park
The cache ist just OUTSIDE the park, so you have not to pay or to enter the Park, but it is worth it anyway!

The difficulty/terrain does not include the way to Tanzania itself but from Parking.
At the Entrance Gate to Lake Manyara National Park everyone has to wait until the driverguide finished the paperwork.
Use the time to find the cache.
Go the way to the toilets and you'll find a wasching basin right side of the way. Only 1 meter behind it you can find the cache between the roots of the tree under a stone, covered with some leaves.

Small note on cache maintenance: I visit here regularly, but as a back-up have are in e-mail contact with a friend who is a tour operator who knows where the cache is and can assist if needed.
