Geocache Description:

Visit MVG's
WebSite

This cache is located at Ceasar Creek State Park and is just a short hike from the fossil bed area off of Clarksville Rd.

Cache with confidence - Permission granted for this cache.

The cache area will take you past the fossil bed area just past the dam area of the lake. You can park at the Flat Fork picnic area or off the road at the fossil beds. When you get to where the lake is in front of you and the trail intersects into another trail you have reached the general area of the cache.

You can stop by the visitors center at the park and pick up a FREE one day fossil hunting permit.

Everytime that I have been out this way I always want to yell out to the fishermen in the lake 'Are the fish biting?' - but I never do - they might not like that.

The container is a camo peanut butter jar with a few trade items and a log book. Member of the MiamivalleyGeocaching club (www.mvgeo.com) was on a group hunt/hike/bridge fact finding mission and decided that another cache or 2 along the way would be a great incentive to get more people out to this wonderful area.
