Team SCR: We have decided to archive this cache after going to check on it. The trail is not there but in spots anymore and the whole area is not as nice (they have even borded up the bathrooms).

We may look to place a another cache in the area soon.

It was a hard decision to archive this cache as this was Team SCR's first hide.

Geocache Description:

Located in park in Ridgeway Va. The path is not the best and and it is up and down hills. Watch your footing!!!

This trail is marked well to start with but hard to follow in some locations. You will have to hike less than a 1/4 mile to find the cache.

It is about 50 to 75 feet off the not so well marked path.

Update 3-10-2007: Not much of a trail anywhere anymore. It will now take quite a bit of buschwhacking but cords still put you right at it.

Plenty of parking here go to the furthest parking lot. Follow the road into the park until it ends and park in that lot, the trail will be marked.

Original contents of the cache included:

A small new flashlight
2 Eggs of Silly Putty
A new waist (fanny) pack
1 Matchbox car
4 batteries.

Satellite reception can be in-and-out (lot of tree cover), if you find the cache and get better coordinates please email us and let us know. This is our first hide so we are open to any suggestions.
