This walk is set in the countryside around the village of Shelfanger, which is where moss grew up. Please note The Gates to the village hall are currently being kept locked when the hall is not in use roadside parking is available but please be respectful of residents when parking Thank you.
We suggest you park at the village hall N52 24 854 E001 05 723 and then turn right out of the car park, down Common Road until you see a public footpath sign on the left hand side (about 500yards away) from here follow your GPS & footpaths. The cache is about 1/2 mile walk from the suggested car parking and once you have found the cache you can easily make it a circular walk of a little over 1 mile by following the path around . The walk follows public footpaths, lanes & permissive rights of way and we would like to thank the landowner for allowing us to place a cache here. Please take care when retrieving & replacing the cache as there is a ditch close by.
