A cache at a north coast viewpoint.
This cache is located at a rocky outcrop above Vicard point on the north coast of the island. There are great views from here along the coast & N.E. to Normandy and the Ecrehous reef.
The main cliffpath from Bonne Nuit to Bouley Bay passes close to the cache, the last 12 metres are down a narrow side path. The location is not suitable for young children as there are very steep drops just 6 metres beyond the cache. I`ve listed three parking spots which will give a choice of walk length, the closest being "Tas de Geon" which is only 10mins from the cache. Park at "Egypt Woods" for a slightly longer walk through a clifftop wood. Park at "Les Platons" for a great 2hr round trip along scenic cliffs, this is the easiest car park to find & is also the closest to "Jersey No.1" cache.
"Vicard View" replaces my "Lair Of The Black Dog" cache (GCW0Q1) which has now been closed down following a large gorse fire above Bouley Bay.
