Homer Simpson has his very own cache!
While looking on the map for a place to hide a cache I came upon a wood near Ayot Green called HOMER'S WOOD. Straight away I thought of the idea for a Homer Simpson cache that could be placed in the wood. So that is what I have done.
I couldnt quite place the cache inside the wood as it is privately owned (DOH! by the Simpsons lol!) so I have placed it just outside the wood.
This cache is another cache and dash but you can follow the public rights of way if you wish.
There is a carpark very close to the cache site. The carpark is sign posted on 'Ayot Green way'. If you drive down Ayot green way from Ayot Green itself then the sign post for the carpark will be on your right, it is situated at the end of the gravel road that will take you to where you can park.
Homer loves his doughnuts, inside the cache is a hat from the Krispy Kreme doughnut resturant. I would like who ever wishes to find this cache, to take a camera with you and to take a picture of yourself wearing the hat ( THE HAT IS NOT A SWOP ITEM! ) and post it on 'Homers Cache' page. You can do it while eating a doughnut if you like, why not!.
*Please note that my GPS seemed to be playing up when I placed this cache so I have given a good long clue!
