The actual buildings associated with this site are now part of the
nearby Wooroloo Prison Farm, but the site is still historically
significant. The sanatorium was built in 1912 and later became a
general hospital before closing in 1970. The cache location is a
reflection of the sad outcome of tuberculosis.
I do hope you take a moment to learn something of the history of
the area.
