A geocaching meet-n-greet that will be held at the Golden Corral in Anderson(3546 Clemson Blvd.)on Sept.30 from 12 to 2 PM.We have a private room reserved for this event
This event will also be the bi-monthly meeting of the USCGA(Upstate South Carolina Geocachers Association).
We will be reviewing the accomplishments made within the last few months(CITO event at SCALE and media articles)
Recognize people that have completed the L.E.G. challenge and induct them into the the league of extraordinary cachers.
Discuss the new additions to the USCGA website(Podcast project).
Smiley award nominations
And possibly plan a group cache hunt event.
We will also be viewing samples of the new USCGA coin to be struck at a later date,And we will vote on which one the group will use.(With thanks to rasj for making this possible.)
Please feel free to bring raffle items,coins,jeeps,travel bugs and your appetite.
A 15% gratuity will be added to each check as you pay at the door,Just let them know that you are with the group.
I will also be attempting to place several new caches in the area to be released on Sept.29....Hopefully there will be a few FTF'S left on the 30th at the event!!!!
Geocachers,new cachers,old cachers and uncachers are all welcome to this event.
