Geocache Description:


This very well camouflaged container is located near the old Woodenhawk Rd. The original bridge was flat and got flooded often, so a new bridge was built. In the early 1900's older siblings used to tease their younger siblings about indians being under the bridge as they walked to the Woodenhawk schoolhouse. A local resident informed us that her grandmother got married on the Woodenhawk Bridge in 1906. There is also a really nice produce stand of locally grown produce nearby. Happy hunting and good luck.
As of 3/6/07 Woodenhawk is now a TB Motel. TAKE A BUG LEAVE A BUG...... This cache in its origianl state, has had plenty of finds and DNF's so we figured it's time for an upgrade. Now a .50cal ammo can,and of course it's WELL CAMOED (what'd you expect?!).
***just to let you know, we found that there may be some reception probs due to an electronic billboard nearby***
