Follow the road to Jamison lake. This lake is another one of our local lakes in the mountians. I am 99% sure you cant swim in it (as with all lakes in SB, not sure why) Hike to the lake usualy takes about an hour, folling the gated road.
Growing up in SB I visited these mountains a lot, either hiking or biking in the back country. Also took many camping trips up there as a child. Back in the day you used to be able to camp in this area, now they have closed it due to a endangered toad.
Cache is a large ammo container
This is off a dirt road. You may need a SUV or truck to get back here. A car can make it, but it will be very slow. road is an improved dirt road.
