Start at the Stefani trailhead adjacent to Silva Valley Parkway. Hike approximately .25 miles to the Walker Ridge trailhead. The Walker Ridge trail leads south, at approximately 900 feet elevation, and remains level as you hike about 1.15 miles to the cache. The cache is a cammoed lock-n-lock container, approximately 4x4x2 inches.
After you sign the log, take some time to explore the murals. If you look closely you'll see the artist's name and the company's website address. The website has a gallery of many other interesting murals.
If you wish to take a shorter route back to the Stefani trailhead, follow the construction road past the school and along Silva Valley Parkway. It's almost a half-mile shorter, but you'll miss the great views from the ridge.
