This is nothing like the view from atop Stoddard Mountain,
but
you can get to this without hiking if you want. Of course you'll
need
some kind of off road vehicle, most anything with enough ground
clearance
and traction could make it. If you're feeling really courageous,
try
approaching from the west. I came down this route and was hating
life
for about 3 minutes, which when you're hating life, is a LONG
time!
When you get there you'll be looking for a camo'd decon container
that is
out of sight. Look for the usual desert hiding techniques.
Contents
include some batteries, zip ties, small bungess, little flashlight,
a
couple of other things (log book, pencil, etc.) and a GCC
geocoin.
