Lightning Lookout Traditional Cache

This cache should give your legs a bit of a stretch after a long drive. Please read the following directions to access the trail, bushwacking is not recommended.
The trail to access this cache starts from the east end of the Lightning Lake day use area. In the winter it is probably a cross country ski trail. The route to the cache is not straight up but a long switchback. The cache area gives you a nice lookout of the day use area. Once you get on the right path, the cache should not be too hard to find. It is a camo color drink mix container with a few trade items and a logbook. There is no need to stray off of the trail.
