The cache is located on The Swans Way west of the village of Ipsden. Limited parking is available in South Stoke. If you are approaching from this direction take care crossing the B4009.
The Watch Folly Tree apparently marks the site where a shepherd boy was murdered by a gang of thieves, possibly during the 16th or 17th Century. It is said that if you fall asleep under this tree, your dream will be manipulated and you will actually witness the crime taking place.
Information on other paranormal activity throughout the UK can be found on www.paranormaldatabase.com.
If there was ever a tree here it seems to have gone now, however the location is still clearly marked on the latest os map of the area. It is worth the walk up the hill as there are good views from the top, and the area is also popular with Red Kites. If you have time continue along the Icknield Way towards Ipsden to find another cache with a supernatural theme – "hello mother" (GCNJW1). Take care crossing the A4074 though as this is a fast road, and can get very busy at times.
You are looking for a 35mm film container with logbook and pencil.
