Geocache Description:

You’re on the East Shore of Kootenay Lake and you want to do some caching, right? There are some great caches on the Pilot Peninsula trails. This is your introduction to the trails & their access roads.

Inside the cache are copies of the pamphlet ‘Pilot Peninsula Hiking Trails’, written by locals who want people to enjoy our area. Please help yourself to one & let it help guide you to some wonderful walks & caches.

The cache is located a short walk (or drive) from the ferry landing, at the public boat launching area. Go down to the boat launch parking lot.

Pilot Bay Road, if you continue driving along it, will take you to 2 different trail heads, each with caches located along the trails.

Cache contains some friendship bracelets made by Kat - with lots of love and hope - with all proceeds going towards cancer research.
