Where: Whipple Dam State Park -
Picnic Pavilion #3
When: Sunday, October 15th from
1:00 PM until we feel like leaving (must be by 6:30, since that is
when the sun sets)
Who: All cachers, and friends and
families of cachers are welcome to attend.
How do you get there? Follow your
GPS!
Hamburgers, hotdogs, condiments,
plates, napkins, etc. will be provided, but we ask that you please
bring a dish to pass. As people post what they would like to
bring, we'll maintain a "I'm bringing this" list so everyone
doesn't bring the same thing. Since this is a state park, no
alcoholic beverages are permitted.
Check back closer to the time of
the event, and we will give more information about any potential
geo-related activities. We hope to see everyone
there!
Note: This event should be
taking place in the middle of leaf peeper season, so bring your
camera to capture some beautiful scenery. Also, I wouldn't consider
the pavilion as wheelchair accessible, so I'm keeping the terrain
as 1.5 for now.
