Een wandeling van minder dan 2 km. Parkeer je auto en wandel langs de twee via-punten om tot aan de cache te geraken. Bij de via-punten hoort geen opdracht. Deze punten werden gewoon als hulpmiddel toegevoegd.
De wandeling zal je leiden naar een middeleeuwse sluistoren. Deze toren met watermolen werd gebouwd op de plaats waar de getijdenwerking op de rivier ophield. Hij kon permanent draaien en was belangrijk voor de ruime regio. Na de Eerste Wereldoorlog bleef slechts de ruïne van het vroegere tolhuis overeind. De sluistoren en de kaaimuren werden in 1979 geklasseerd als beschermd monument.
Je kan de cache bereiken via een 'paadje'. Je hoeft dus de omgeving niet te verstoren van dit beschermd natuurlandschap.
Wees discreet als je logt, zodat deze cache niet verdwijnt!

Laat geen olifantenspoor achter, want anders zou de cache wel eens kunnen verdwijnen... Je kan de cache nemen zonder het 'paadje' te moeten verlaten.
Om terug te keren kan je gewoon het paadje blijven volgen (geef de parking in als WP), of je kan het water volgen.

A walk of less than 2 km. Park your cark and walk along the two via-points to get to the cache. There are no assignments on these via-points. They were just created as an extra guide for the walk.
The walk will lead you to a medieval sluicetower. This tower with watermill was build on the place where the tide of the river ends. It was able to work permanently and was important for the wide area. After the first World War, only the ruins of the old toll house remained. It has been classified as a protected monument since 1979.
You can reach the cache via a little 'path'. There is no need to disturb this piece of protected landscape.
Be discrete when you log this cache, so it won't get muggled!

Don't leave elephant tracks behind, otherwise the cache will be muggled very quickly. You can reach the cache while standing on the 'path'.
To return to the car, you can just keep on following the path (give in the parking as destination), or you can follow the water.
