Enjoy the hike. The maple trees here are beautiful in the fall.
This site closes for a short time in the early spring for maple sugar demonstrations.
This is probably our favorite MCCD park. The nature trail here is very nice (no caches allowed). Cache is not far from the trail, but hopefully hidden where there are multiple possiblities to make the find more interesting.
Cache is a clear container with a black lid.
•The geocache is on McHenry County Conservation District land with permission.
•Absolutely no cutting of brush or other vegetation is allowed.
•Visitors must remain on designated trails until you are right at the cache.
•It is the visitor’s responsibility to orient themselves with the site rules.
•Sites are open sunrise to sunset, however some gates may not be open until 8am.
•At certain times of the year, sites will close for a variety of reasons.
Site may only be accessed through the main entrance for the park.
