Geocache Description:

Views are breathtaking over Skagit Bay and delta to the mountains. History is thick and so are the birds. (Notice the purple martin nesting boxes on the pilings placed by members of Skagit Audubon.)
This is the site of the booming grounds of the English logging company, where logs were assembled and enclosed by booms in rafts for towing to the mill. That's what the forest of old pilings was for.
The wild shore secluded by a tanglewood bluff is open both ways. West one mile on gravel/cobbles is Arrowhead Beach on Brown Point -- houses and a turnaround. East the delta immediately begins; creek-incised saltgrass meadows continue one mile and can perhaps be walked one more to the mouth of West Pass.
Views on a crisp, clear winter day are stunning. The ice mound of Baker and Twin Sisters dominates, but also grand are peaks enclosing the Skagit delta — Woolley Lyman, Chuckanut, Blanchard, Devils, Cultus. South are Three Fingers, north are Canadian giants. The centerpiece is the broad expanse of Skagit Bay from Whidbey Island to Ika and Craft Islands, the entire Fir Island segment of the Skagit delta, and the whole Stillaguamish delta.

Cache is a medium lock & lock. The new trail created by volunteers from Friends of Camano Island Parks will lead most of the way but the rest is up to you. This can get muddy depending on the time of year and the tide may hinder some. FTF wooden token, unactivated Geocachers University coin, Signal antenna topper, geo pins, coin and TB's.

If you find the cache hide it as well as you found it.
Have fun and as always beware of snooping eyes.
It is always a good idea to have a writing instrument with you.
Finally, please let me know if there are problems with either the cache or its coordinates.
Please leave only quality swag

There is a theory that states that if anyone discovers exactly why the universe is here and what it is for, it will instantly be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory that states that this has already happened. - Douglas Adams
