1.zastaveni/stage - Krakonosovo namesti - Krakonos square - N50° 33.641 E015° 54.782
Centrem mesta, obklopeneho az do roku 1861 kamennymi hradbami ze 14. stoleti, je Krakonosovo namesti. Jeho domy se stredovekym podloubim, rekonstruovane v 80. letech minuleho stoleti, nesou rysy pozdniho baroka, empiru a klasicismu. Renesancni obdobi pripomina starobyla radnice s venkovni sgrafitovou vyzdobou, prestavena v novogotickem slohu po pozaru, ktery v roce 1861 znicil skoro vsech 300 domu vnitrniho mesta. K dominantam namesti patri Krakonosova kasna z roku 1892, barokni sloup Nejsvatejsi Trojice z roku 1704 a take nedavno instalovana socha Josefa II.
Aktualni deni na namesti muzete sledovat na teto webcam. Rovnez by zde mel fungovat free wifi hotspot.
Na sose Josefa II zjistete datum (ABBC) uvedene na zadni strane. Na namesti se nachazi rodny dum cesko-nemeckeho basnika, spisovatele a revolucionare Uffo Horna (waypoint UFFO). Zjistete, v kterem mesici se Uffo Horn narodil (D).
[en] Krakonos square is the historical centre of Trutnov. You can see the Krakonos fountain (1892), the Baroque Trinity column (1704), the statue of Joseph II and the town hall there. The town hall was built in neo-Gothic style after the catastrophic fire of 1861 had destroyed the Renaissance town hall of the 16th century. The Renaissance sgraffito decorations were recreated in the 1980's. Since 1987 it is used again as the official town hall of Trutnov.
At the back side of the statue of Joseph II, there is a date (ABBC), that is related to the battle between Austrian and Prussian. On the square, there is a house, where Uffo Horn (a poet, writer) was born (waypoint UFFO). Find out the month of his birth (D).

3.zastaveni/stage - mestsky park - municipal park - N50 33.448 E15 54.642  
Nachazite se v trutnovskem parku nedaleko sochy Uffo Horna. Pokracujte vzhuru parkem smerem k Janske kapli. Nedaleko waypointu QSTG3 naleznete kamenny pomnik s nemeckym napisem, ve kterem je uveden rok zalozeni parku (ABGH).
V bezprostredni blizkosti mestskeho parku se nachazi Koncertni sin Bohuslava Martinu, drive evangelicky kostel postaveny v novogotickem stylu v roce 1900. Evangelickym cirkvim objekt slouzil do roku 1957. V roce 1980 byl rekonstruovan jako Koncertni sin Bohuslava Martinu, ktera slouzi kulturnim potrebam mesta, kazdorocne v nem probiha napr. festival komorni hudby Trutnovsky podzim. V interieru jsou umisteny sochy muze a zeny v nadzivotni velikosti, Hlas a Naslouchani, od akademickeho sochare Olbrama Zoubka.

Several dozens meters uphill in direction to the stage4 there is a small monument with a stone table saying (in german), when this park was established (ABGH). 4. zastaveni/stage - Janska kaple - Janska Chapel - N50 33.361 E15 54.878
Kaple sv. Jana Krtitele byla postavena na Janskem vrchu v roce 1714. V jeji blizkosti se nachazela take poustevna a zazracna studanka. Puvodni kaple byla vazne poskozena za slezskych valek, zejmena pri pozaru mesta roku 1745. Pri prusko-rakouske bitve v roce 1866 probihaly boje kolem i uvnitr kaple a strely zde zanechaly dodnes zretelne stopy. Dnes je v Janske kapli male vojenske muzeum, pristupne od kvetna do zari o vikendovych dnech vzdy od 13 do 18hodin, v cervenci a srpnu navic i v pracovnich dnech mimo pondeli ve stejnem case.
Z tabulky na zdi zjistete, v kterem roce byla dnesni Janska kaple postavena (AIJE).
[en] Janska Chapel was built on the top of Jansky hill in 1714 and later was rebuilt after it had been destroyed by fire in 1745. It was a place of strongest fights during the battle of Trutnov in 1866. There is a small cemetery around it and small military museum inside. Find out the date, when the chapel was (re)built (AIJE). (the first date on the board near the chapel entrance).
