Geocache Description:

Charlottetown Travel Bug Hotel is now open for business. This cache was created as we felt this area needs a place to move TB's.

Our Hotel is modelled after the numerous TB hotels that we have used in the past. It is a large container, camouflaged with tape and hidden centrally in Charlottetown. We included trading items in case people didn’t have a travel bug to trade but still wanted to come out for a hunt. We’ve included several travel bugs that we’ve collected recently to help start things off. Its time for local cachers to step up and get this tourist destination going by helping to keep a good clientele at the hotel. Nobody wants to come to an empty hotel (Remember the movie The Shining?).

The cache is actually located in a small community park, a great place to have a family picnic or do a little beach combing within the city. There are walking trails and sports fields nearby but the cache is set in a quieter part of the park. You may have to employ some degree of stealth but it’s not a real high use area.

The gates to the park close at dusk but there is ample parking on the street. There is no coffee money for the FTF but we made up for it by offering primo swag.
